If the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services lifts its suspension of athletics and shuttering of high schools because of Covid-19, Martin will play playoff football at Adrian Lenawee Christian at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 16.
The Clippers have an 8-1 record overall, with its only loss a forfeit related to Covid-19. Lenawee Christian is an undefeated powerhouse with a 9-0 mark.
The Michigan High School Athletic Association released its schedule with dates and times for the regional finals in 11-player football and semifinals in 8-player, if practices are approved to resume Dec. 9.
The playoff games will be played either Dec. 15 or Dec. 16. The 11-player semifinals and 8-player championships will be played Dec. 21-22. The 11-player championship games will be played Dec. 28 and Dec. 29 at Ford Field.
Indian River Inland Lakes (8-1) will play at Suttons Bay (9-0), at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 15, in the other semifinal.
The football playoffs were paused Nov. 15 because of spikes in Coronavirus cases.
