Martin High School senior Eli Dykstra finished seventh in a field of 54 runners Saturday in the Lawrence Early Bird race.
Teammate Alex Morin, only a freshman was 17th with a time of 21:21 on the five-kilometer course. Dykstra’s time was 19:52.
Martin did not score as a team in the meet because it did not have the minimum of five runners.
The Martin girls included four runners. Mercedes Morin checked in 12th with a time of 25:19. Zoe Tuinstra was 17th. Also competing were Elly Blackburn and Chloe Billington.
