The Martin wrestling team finished fourth in Division 3 competition Saturday at Hudson Super 16 tournament.

Regarded as one of the most prestigious wrestling tournaments of each season, this event included the top two teams (Dundee in Division 3 and Hudson in Division 4) as the defending state champions. Thirty teams participated in the tournament.

Martin overcame a half-point deficit to claim fourth place in the final match, when Max Bleeker pinned his opponent at the 4:02 mark. 
The top five teams’ scoring was Dundee 209.5, Hudson 163, Oxford 107, Martin 75 and St. Louis 71.5.

Earning for the Clippers were Haylen Buell, second at 132 ibs.; Logan Gilbert, fourth at 113; Jack Bagwell, fourth at 150; Max Bleeker, fifth at 285, and Malcolm Smith sixth at 175.
