The Martin boys’ and girls’ track teams both lost in a dual meet Wednesday against Gobles.
The boys lost 79-54 and the girls 97-37.
Junior Alex Morin won the 800-meter run by more than eight seconds, in 2:20.55.
Senior Logan Kent took the 110-meter high hurdles in 21.07 seconds. Gavin Meyers emerged first in the 300-meter hurdles in 45.63 seconds and Kent and Nicholas Jager made it a 1-2-3 sweep for Martin.
Meyers, Kyle Fennema, Taegan Harris and Kent hooked up to win the 1600-meter relay in 3:59.66.
Harris, Gavin Salvador-Garcia, Meyers and Morin finished first in the 3200-meter relay in 9:33.32.
Freshman Seth Toris was first in the pole vault, clearing 7-6.
Makala Goddard scored a first-place finish in the 300-meter hurdles.
Torryn Harris jumped 13-9.5 in the long jump for first and teammate Emily King was second.
Emily King and Kayden Jager went 2-3 in the 800, as did Veyda Conley and Kayden Jager in the 1600-meter run.
Lauren Taylor and Jager went 2-3 in the 3200.
Ellyse Blackburn and Sara Schipper went 2-3 in the high jump.
