Martin High School junior Carsen Young finished fourth in the 140-lb. weight class at the Division 4 state wrestling meet Saturday at Ford Field, Detroit. Young’s bid for the title was halted by Landyn VanWyk of Lawton in a 14-6 major decision in the semifinals. Young earned his 100^th career victory on the mat earlier this season and he came into the competition with a 50-8 record. He also was a state qualifier in cross-country last fall.
