Martin’s Colton Keyzer finishes 8th in the state in pole vault

Martin senior Colton Keyzer (far right) placed eighth in the pole vault Division 4 state meet Saturday at Hudsonville. Keyzer cleared 12 feet, 4 inches and tied Gabe Bennett of New Lothrup, but Bennett was awarded seventh because of fewer misses. His effort resulted in Martin scoring one team point at the state meet.
