Martin’s varsity football game Friday night against Fennville has been canceled.
The remainder of the Blackhawks’ varsity football season has been called off. Fennville lost all four of its games earlier this season, but only 28-20 to Calvin Christian Sept. 15, in its homecoming contest. The game was scheduled to take place at Bruder Stadium in Fennville.
The Martin junior varsity will still be host to Fennville’s JV football team at 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 21.
Martin school officials have posted, “Stay tuned for an update on a potential game for our varsity football team this week. Thank you for understanding.”
The Clippers are 2-2 for the season thus far.
