New light poles are being installed at Wayland High School’s Ron Stehouwer football stadium. Workers are replacing light poles that are more than 35 years old. The new poles are energy efficient, reducing the carbon footprint and energy consumption up to 80%. It will reduce the virtual glare and light spill into the neighborhood. This project is being funded through the schools’ Public Improvement Fund (Casino in lieu of tax revenue).
