The Hopkins girls’ basketball team lost 47-37 Tuesday night to a Northpointe Christian team it defeated earlier in the season.
The loss dropped the Lady Vikings’ overall season record to 5-14, 4-5 in the O-K Silver Conference.
Two teams were locked in a tight defensive struggle for three periods. The Mustangs led only 19-18 at the half and 31-27 after three quarters, but pulled away slightly in the last eight minutes.
Madison Kerber scored seven points to lead Hopkins. Kelsey Morgan had 13 and Michelle Vandervliet 11 for Northpointe.
