The four-game Hopkins varsity softball winning streak was halted Thursday afternoon in a 7-6 loss at Parchment. However, the contest was only a scrimmage because umpires failed to appear.

The non-league verdict left the Lady Vikings’ overall season record at 4-1. They have swept two doubleheaders in O-K Silver Conference play earlier this season.

Hopkins will get back in action Tuesday at home with a doubleheader against Plainwell.
