Presley Hudson, CMU to play in NCAA women’s tourney

Presley Hudson, a 2015 graduate of Wayland High School, is heading the NCAA women’s basketball tournament later this month with Central Michigan University. CMU Saturday posted a 96-91 victory in the championship round of the Mid-American Conference tournament to claim the league title outright. Hudson, an all-stater at Wayland and runner-up in the Miss Basketball balloting, scored 26 points, sharing scoring honors in the game. She has averaged more than 18 points per game for the Chippewas, who now are 28-4 on the season overall.
