Proud parents of Bill Holbrook grace photo

A blast from the past was accomplished recently when former Wayland High School girls bowling coach Bill Holbrook took a picture of his parents, who have quite a legacy left at Wayland High School. His mom, the former Sandy Kotrba, was elected homecoming queen in the fall of 1963. His dad was starting guard on one of the most successful Wildcat basketball teams ever. The younger Bill Holbrook has made his mark coaching bowling, taking the reins at several colleges since leaving the Wildcats behind. However, both Wayland teams this weekend will take párt in the state Division 2 tournament at Waterford.
