The Wayland girls’ golf team finished fourth in the final standings of the O-K Gold Conference after the league tournament Monday at Thornapple Pointe.
The Lady Wildcats recorded a team score of 385 to place fourth in the league tournament. South Christian won it with a 350, Grand Rapids Christian was runner-up at 364 and East Grand Rapids third at 377.
South Christian was crowned conference champion for the third year in a row.
Wayland will compete Wednesday in the Division 2 regional tournament at Hudsonville Unity Christian’s home course, at Pigeon Creek Golf Course.
Joining the Lady Wildcats will be Allendale, Grand Rapids Catholic Central, Grand Rapids Christian, Grand Rapids South Christian, Hamilton, Hastings, Holland Christian, Hudsonville Unity Christian, Ionia, Lake Odessa Lakewood and Middleville Thornapple Kellogg.
