The Hopkins boys’ basketball team lost 95-66 at Wyoming Godwin Heights in a makeup O-K Silver Conference contest Thursday evening.
Godwin has lost only once this season and is rated No. 4 among Class B hoops teams in Michigan, according to the Associated Press rankings.
The Vikings started the game up 11-2 and battled gallantly from start to finish. Hunter Lewellyn led Hopkins with 17 points.
Hopkins now is 8-7 overall and 2-6 in the conference. Godwin, which scored more than 100 points Tuesday against Belding, is 16-1 overall.
The Vikings will be back in action Friday night at home vs. Kelloggsville.
