The Hopkins varsity softball season ended Saturday morning in the opening round of the Division 2 district tournament in a 15-0 loss to Otsego.
The Bulldogs, ranked No. 9 in the last state-wide coaches’ poll, broke a scoreless tie in the third inning and plated all 15 runs in the third and fourth frames.
The Vikings finished with an overall season record of 15-12.
