Senior Abe Dykstra was designated for first team all-state honors as a member of the Martin championship eight-man football team and three of his teammates earned similar accolades.
Quarterback Gavin Meyers, who scored the Clippers’ game-winning touchdown in the championship game, earned second team honors, as did running back Haylen Buell. Taegen Harris earned honored mention accolades as well.
Keith Snyder was selected as asistant coach of the year.
Martin has won the state title in both of the last two seasons of eight-man football.
