Three members of the Hopkins varsity football team have been selected to the first unit of the all-O-K Silver Conference team. Aaron Arnsman, Avery Pavlak and Landen Klinge were chosen for the first team. Connor Ainsworth earned honorable mention accolades.
The Vikings completed the 2023 football season with a 2-7 overall record and they were 2-4 in league competition.
The O-K Silver Conference includes Hopkins, Wyoming Godwin Heights, Kelloggsville, Sparta, Belding, Comstock Park, NorthPointe Christian, Calvin Christian and Wyoming Lee. NorthPointe and Lee do not play football in the Silver Conference, but instead play eight-man football.
