The Wayland girls’ track tCoed-Track-200x112eam ran into one of the squads in West Michigan, Middleville Thornapple Kellogg, Thursday afternoon and came away with a 131-15 O-K Gold Conference dual meet loss.

Coach Ray Antel said the Wildcat girls produced many seasonal and lifetime personal records tonight in near-perfect weather. Senior Captain, Kennedy Richardson finished second in the 100-meter high hurdles with a time of 18.62 seconds, and won the 300-meter hurdles with a time of 52.09. Brooke Mulder took third in the shot put (27’6.5″) and a third in the discus (74’10”). Captain Riley Shepherd took third in the 1600 with a time of 6:17.28. Sydney Courturier was third in the 800 (2:49.66) and second in the high jump (4’8″)

The Lady Wildcats look forward to running in the Comstock Park Invitational this Saturday.
