Two former Vikings listed on Northwood football roster

Two former Hopkins football standouts are members of this fall’s Northwood University gridiron squad, both as linemen.

Junior offensive lineman Matt Modreske and red-shirted freshman defensive lineman Jalen Kisner are listed on the Timberwolves’ roster. Modreske was an all-stater for the 2012 Hopkins football team and Kisner twice was all-conference for the Vikings, in 2013 and 2014. Modreske is listed at 68 and 335 pounds and Kisner is 6-2 and 280.

Northwood, an NCAA Division II school, plays in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, which also includes Grand Valley and Ferris State.
