Two Wayland girls’ varsity bowling team members qualified for the Division 2 state tournament Saturday by placing among the top 10 in the regional individual tourney in Kalamazoo. Bella Harnish (left) finished 10th and freshman Kadence Bottrall was runner-up, missing first place by just five pins. They are shown here with their coach, Eric Bottrall. Their performances came a day after the Lady Wildcats qualified as a team for the MHSAA state tourney at Waterford next weekend by capturing second place.
