Kennedy Gill of the Hopkins High School girls’ varsity bowling team placed first Saturday and Viking boys’ team member Carsen DeLao finished 10th at the regional tournament at M-66 Bowl in Battle Creek. They both have qualified to compete in the Division 3 state bowling championships next weekend at Jax60 in Jackson. Kennedy also will be bowling next weekend with her team, which placed second Friday in the team regional competition.
