Two Vikings named to O-K Silver all-conference team

Two seniors on the Hopkins boys’ varsity basketball team have been named to the first unit of the O-K Silver Conference all-star basketball team. Trevor Smith (left) and Colin Weber earned the accolades for a team that finished second in the abbreviated team standings and earned a Division 2 district tournament championship. The Vikings, 11-7 on the season overall, once again are serious underdogs Thursday evening in the regional finals against homestanding Benton Harbor team that owns a 16-2 record.
