Sophomore Brenden Gossman of Hopkins took second place overall in the finals in the pre-regional bowling tournament Saturday. He qualified fifth to go into bracket play. He thus qualifies for the regionals as an individual. Gossman rolled a combined score of 1,211, with the needed score among 75 participants set at 1,170. Twelve bowlers qualified.
