The Hopkins boys’ and girls’ varsity bowling teams captured victories Monday over O-K Silver Conference rival Calvin Christian at Brewhouse Lanes in Dorr.

After a week long break, he boys won both Baker games 205-111 and 192-171. They took three points in the first individual game and two and a half in the second.

Josh Glascott tied his opponent for the 1/2 point. Winning the match 25 1/2 to 4 1/2. High scores for the boys were Brenden Gossman with 201 and Connor Brookhouse with 183.

The girls also won their match 27-3, starting with winning both of their Baker games. High scores for the girls were Kennedy Gill with 176 and Alayna Ryan with 170.

The Viking girls’ team is away Tuesday against Northpointe Christian.
