Hopkins made it it two in row Friday night for come-from-behind victories on the gridiron.

The Vikings spotted Kelloggsville 16-6, 24-14 and 30-22 at the first three period stops, but came up with 20 points in the final quarter to pull out a 42-38 triumph. The week before they trailed Wyoming Godwin Heights 28-14 at the end of the third quarter before putting 26 unanswered points on the board in the final 12 minutes to win 40-28.

The victory lifted Hopkins’ O-K Silver record to 2-0 after suffering losses in the two contests of the season.

The Vikings will be at home Friday evening to entertain a Comstock Park team that blanked Godwin 40-0.
