The Hopkins varsity volleyball team stepped outside O-K Silver Conference play Tuesday and defeated Otsego in three of four matches.
The Lady Vikings won by the scores of 25-18, 25-21, 17-25 and 25-22.
“The team played well and there were many contributors,” said coach Terri Wisser.
Individual statistical leaders were:
• Kills: Kate Cleypool 13, Mady Weber 12, Corrie Wisser 11, Lilly Iciek/Lyla Reynolds/Peyton Roxbury 3.
• Assists: Corrie Wisser 32.
• Aces: Ellie Sebright/Kate Cleypool 3, Kylee Sykes 2, Lilly Iciek/Mady Weber 1.
• Blocks: Kate Cleypool 4, Lilly Iciek 3, Peyton Roxbury 2, Lyla Reynolds 1.
• Digs: Ellie Sebright 28, Kate Cleypool 20, Corrie Wisser 17, Kylee Sykes 11, Mady Weber 9.
Hopkins now is 14=6-4 for the season overall and remains at 2-0 in league play.
