Vikings score only 40 points in hoops loss to Tri-Unity

The Hopkins boys’ varsity basketball team Friday night was held to its lowest point total this season in a 49-40 loss to Tri-Unity Christian.

The Vikings scored only four points in the entire third quarter, but still managed to remain competitive throughout the ballgame.

Hopkins now is 5-2 on the season overall while the Defenders are 5-1.

The Vikings will play at Wyoming Godwin Heights Tuesday evening to open their O-K Silver Conference season.
