The Wayland boys’ varsity basketball team will play Forest Hills Central at 6 p.m. Tuesday Dec. 29, in the opening round of the Cornerstone Holiday Basketball Tournament, Gold Division.
The Wildcats, sporting a 3-0 record overall this season thus far, will play either Wyoming Godwin Heights or Rockford in the second round on Saturday, Jan. 2, either at 6 or 7:30 p.m. Opening round winners play at 7:30 and losers will play at 6.
If the Wildcats play Godwin in the second round, it will be a chance for them to avenge their season-ending loss to the Wolverines in the Class B district finals last March.
