Wayland High School does well in Meijer state games

Wayland athletes had a more than reasonable success in this past weekend’s Meijer State Games. The Lady Wildcats basketball team claimed the championship at West Catholic High School Sunday afternoon. Wayland High School graduate Breanna Hyde took first place in the long jump with a personal best leap of 17-11.5 and was second in the 200-meter dash. Nathan Savinsky was second in the hurles.
