Enrique Camarada, formerly of Shelbyville and a Wayland High School graduate, recorded his first-ever hole-in-one at the Grosse Ile Golf and Country Club Sunday, where he works as assistant golf professional. He earned the ace at hole No. 4 at the club, 168 yard shot with a cut 6 iron into the wind and slightly uphill. “Perfect little 5 yard cut right at the pin,” he said. “I thought it was going long and then I heard it hit the stick like I’ve never heard it before. Barely caught the lip, and dunked it right in the cup on the fly!”
