Otsego, which scored a huge runaway 51-22 victory over Plainwell Monday night in the girls’ basketball Class B district opener, will be Wayland’s semifinals opponent on the home court at 7 p.m. Wednesday.

Hopkins, which finished the regular season with a 14-6 record and the O-K Silver Conference championship, will take on Allegan (8-12) in the other semifinal contest, at 5:30.

Otsego, regarded as the tourney favorite, now has a 13-8 record for the season overall.

The district championship game will take place at 6 p.m. at the WHS gym, pitting the winners of Wednesday night’s games for the title.
