Mike Salisbury has joined the football coaching staff at Hopkins High School.
Salisbury the past three seasons has been part of the coaching staff at Wayland Union High School and before that at Caledonia, entering his 12th year coaching high school football.
“I’m really looking forward to joining the fine coaching brotherhood at Hopkins,” he said. “I can’t wait to be a part of the tradition and success that Hopkins football will continue to enjoy.”
Salisbury, son of the late Jeff Salisbury, who was head varsity foorball coach Wayland from 1985 to 1989, lives in Wayland with wife Jill and they have two children, Mitchell who will be a junior at Michigan State University, and Sarah who will be a junior at Wayland.
Salisbury’s day job is owning and administering the Reno Insurance Agency in downtown Wayland.
