WHS grad battling cancer honored at hockey game

Bob Meconis, a 1966 graduate of Wayland High School and longtime booster of Wildcat athletics, was given the honor Saturday night of dropping the puck for the Byron Center-Wayland combined high school hockey team’s annual game recognizing those battling cancer.
