Wayland High School graduate Doug Cutler has been selected as one of the assistant coaches for the Indiana Tech bowling teams.
Cutler, who lives in Ft. Wayne, Ind., with his wife, Erica, and family, will be working with Tom Osborne and Jeff Dreyfus.
“It is going to be great to get back into the collegiate atmosphere again,” Cutler said. “Tom and Jeff did a fantastic job last year with the team. I was there first year and they won a tournament and that was the first in school history and we have some great returning students and some fantastic freshman coming this year.
“Both the men’s and ladies bowling programs are getting better and better and I am glad to be a part of this and to help the kids succeed on and off the lanes.”
Erica Cutler earlier this year combined efforts with Brittney Haneline to roll a United States Bowling Congress national women’s record 1,615 for doubles.
