
Wayland High School graduate Sydney Ritz is starting her second season with the Spring Arbor University volleyball team.
A sophomore, she is an outside hitter. She appeared in 62 sets last season as a freshman and came up with 40 kills, 11 assists, 34 digs and 15 blocks.
Before she joined the Cougars, Ritz, daughter of Pam and Kenny Ritz, was a standout volleyball and basketball player for Wayland High School.
Spring Arbor, a Division II NAIA school, is a member of the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference.
