In the “Time flies when you’re having fun and getting old” category, Sydney Ritz, daughter of Kenny and Pam Ritz, is a senior this fall at Spring Arbor University, and she continues to excel on the volleyball court. A 2016 graduate of Wayland High School who starred in both volleyball and basketball, she tallied 301 kills, 6 assists, 142 digs and 38 blocks and was named All-Crossraods League second team. Joining her on the Cougars’ squad this fall is freshman Emily Johnson, a 2019 Wayland grad.
