WHS grad Sydney Urben has 3rd highest bowling average

Wayland High School graduate Sydney Urben has the third highest individual collegiate bowling average in the latest Tier I listing by CollegeBowling.com. Urben, who won the state Division 2 championship in the winter of 2018 as a Wildcat, is averaging 212.333 through six games rolled for Mount Mercy College (Ill.) Interestingly, two other top 10 averages were recorded by Midland (Neb.) bowlers under the tutelage of Bill Holbrook, former Wildcat girls’ coach.
