Wayland High School graduate Jodi Church recently completed her SANE (Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner) pediatric training, so besides her adult SANE a couple of years ago.she’s now a part of Michigan Mobile Forensics 1, to help provide specialized forensic nursing care.
Church said,This role allows me to care for patients of all ages who have experienced sexual assault, offering not only medical evaluation and evidence collection, but also compassion, support and advocacy during some of the most difficult moments in a person’s life.”
She said the exams are completely free, and support is always available.

A graduate of Ferris State University and former employee at University of Michigan Health Sparrow in Lansing, she is the daughter of Linda Holcomb of Wayland and the late Dennis Holcomb.
