Wayland High School sophomore Olivia Barabas has been selected to the Division 2 academic all-state team for cross county. Barabas last month finished 51st in the state meet at Michigan International Speedway, checking in with a time of just over 20 minutes for the five-kilometer race. She broke the 20-minute barrier the week before in regional meet while qualifying for state with teammate Ava Makowski.
