Joann (Lodenstein) Worden, a 1992 graduate of Wayland High School, won the gold medal at the 2017 Kettlebell Lifting Championships this past weekend in Seoul, South Korea. Hungary took the bronze and Japan took the silver. She earlier won the AKA national championships to win the tight to compete in the international event.
