The Wayland High School boys’ bowling team Friday will be at a place they haven’t been in more than a dozen years — the Division 2 state championship round at Waterford. The guys, coached by Sherry Rybiski Miklusicak and Eric Bottrall, will be joined by perennial state qualifier Kadence Bottrall for the girls as an individual. Team members include Chandler Caruso, Dominik Baker, Stephen Harnish, Wil Deming, Aydin Tolliver, Kyle Van Ess and Jayse Henkel. The lads Monday were visited by special guests Paul Goodwin and Rickey Marcus (cover photo), two members of the last Wildcat boys’ squad to make it to state 14 years ago.
