Wayland Union Middle School’s top 10 boys’ and girls’ cross country runners both took fifth place out of nine teams at at the Michigan High School Athletic Association (MHSAA) regionals Tuesday. Three Wildcat runners medaled in the top 20. Madi Bumhoffer took seventh place, Makayla Miner took ninth and Maverick Kasprowicz finished in 11th place. Seven out of the 20 Wayland runners had their personal best times.
