Wildcat golfers tie for 2nd, but finish 4th in first Gold meet

Nick Losinger fired an excellent nine-hole score of 38 to capture individual medalist honors in the first O-K Gold Conference golf meet of the season Tuesday afternoon.

Wayland tied for second place with Hastings and Middleville Thornapple Kellogg, as all three teams carded a 170 total, but the Wildcats ended up fourth, based on the scores of the fifth and sixth players on the team.

Grand Rapids Catholic Central won the jamboree with a 166. South Christian was fifth at 172, as only six strokes separated the first and last squads in the meet.Boys-Golf
