Wildcat junior varsity finishes season with 14-6 record

The Wayland boys’ junior varsity basketball team completed its season Monday with a 62-61 loss to Grand Rapids Ottawa Hills. The young Wildcats finished the season with an overall record of 14-6. The highlight of the season was winning the junior varsity championship at the Cornerstonr University Holiday Tournament. Team members included Jaden Lyle (2), Carson Sevigny (3), Ternor Hudson (10), Caleb Wolf (11), Evan LeDere (12), Devin Jakey (20), Tyler Chiarmonte (21), Seth Sevenski-Popma (22), Rob Bausick (23), Isaiah Edney (24), Jory Shepherd (30), Cory Ainsworth 31) and George Yanakiev (32). The coach is Chris Jasinski.
