Wildcat JV football team ends season with 4-5 mark

The Wayland junior varsity football team concluded its regular season Thursday night by defeating Belding 24-16. The Wildcats won their last three games in a row and four of their last six to finish with a 4-5 overall record. “The kids kept improving and finally starting believing in themselves,” said Mike Salisbury, one of the coaches. “Glad the freshmen were able to join us for the last game. They were a big help this week and so were their coaches.”
