Wayland High School sophomore Rory Myers already has some special accomplishments in his young career as a golfer. The 15-year-old Wildcat last spring was district tournament champion as a freshman with an 18-hole score of 71. Myers this week added to his growing legend by carding a hole-in-one at the Forest Akers West Golf Course on the campus of Michigan State University. He is the son of Shannon and Todd Myers and grandson of Bob and Betty Meconis, all of Wayland.
