The Wayland boys’ varsity tennis team ran into one of the top outfits in West Michigan Monday in Forest Hills Eastern and lost 8-0.
The Hawks are rated No. 4 in the latest MHSAA rankings for Division 3 statewide.
Coach Cheri Ritz reported on players’ individual records thus far this season as Triston Richards at No. 4 singles (6-3), No. 1 singles Rory Bessinger (7-10), No. 2 Nick Adams (5-12) and doubles players Colin (6-13) and Christian Sieffert (7-12).
