Wayland, Martin and Hopkins all had their boys’ basketball seasons concluded by opponents district semifinals Wednesday night.
The Wildcats lost 65-54 to Wolverine Conference champion Otsego, a team that entered the game with a 17-4 overall record. Wayland’s final overall season record was 12-12 and 5-9 in the O-K Gold Conference.
Hopkins fought Allegan to a 46-all deadlock at the end of regulation time, but then watched the Tigers score 11 unanswered points in overtime in a 57-46 defeat. The Vikings finished the season with a 15-7 overall record.
Martin’s season ended on its home court, 58-15 at the hands of Wyoming Tri-Unity Christian. The Clippers’ final overall record was 3-20.
