The Wayland High School varsity football team concluded its season with a 3-6 overall record, 2-4 in the O-K Gold Conference,
The Wildcats Friday night were defeated 24-8 at Forest Hills Central in a nonleague contest. The host Rangers are headed for the post-season playoffs.
Forest Hills led 7-0, 10-0 and 24-0 at the period stops. Wayland scored its lone touchdown and a two-point conversion in the fourth quarter.
