The Wayland varsity football team’s overall season record fell to 2-3 Friday after a 39-7 defeat at the hands of South Christian at East Kentwood High School.
The Sailors got out to an early start and were able to stave off the ‘Cats for most of the night.
The Wildcats will be host to Forest Hills Eastern next Friday for Homecoming. Their record now in the O-K Conference is 1-2.
